My children both attended Goldilocks childminding for a period of around two years. They enjoyed their time there, particularly in the play room which had a variety of games and toys for all age groups. The toys were always well kept and stored in categories so the children could easily find what they were looking for. There was a different theme each season the year and the children would take part activites and arts & crafts in connection with the theme. They often came home with things they had made or cooked whilst they had been there.
There was also regular outings to parks and events in the local and surrounding areas which the children enjoyed going on.
Christina was very professional at all times ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children as a priority. There were regular newsletters and Facebook updates on plans for the coming weeks and photographs shared of their activities. There were regular updates too on Babysdays too regarding their progress and development.
Overall the children enjoyed their time at Goldilocks and I would recommend the setting to other parents.

Christina is a lovely, caring childminder. She went to great lengths to ensure that my young daughter settled well into the setting and created a strong, trusting bond. The atmosphere in the setting was always very calm and Christina provided a wide range of activites for the children, both in her home and through regular trips out. My daughter was always very happy to be going to Christina’s house and it gave me a great sense of reassurance knowing that she was getting such excellent care and was thriving while I was at work.

Christina has looked after our 18-month old son, Charlie, since September of this year, taking care of him and his friend Aaron, (who is 2 months younger), 5 days a week. The boys quickly took to Christina, who is patient, attentive, and good with young children. We’ve found Christina to be hard-working, professional, and always pleasant to deal with.
Christina is extremely professional. She has a calm, controlled and courteous manner which put both us and the boys at ease from the very beginning. Her approach has created a fun and friendly atmosphere for learning and play from which both boys have benefitted enormously. She is also able to apply the discipline necessary to control poor behavior. She has developed and implemented a clear set of common sense house rules that have set the boundaries for the boys. She has developed a bond of trust with the boys and they are both extremely fond of her and always pleased to see her.
Christina has established a full and engaging routine for the boys. It provided both boys with the opportunity to have physical play, learning activities, arts and crafts, play dates with friends, and regular attendance at playgroups for interaction with larger groups of children. She built up relationships with local nannies and mothers to maintain a wide circle of friends for the boys: regularly hosting play dates at the house or taking the boys to their friend’s houses. The variety of activities include; painting, drawing, baking, play dough, cutting and sticking, card making, learning colours/numbers, dressing up, etc. This wide variety of activities has encouraged focused play and learning to complement physical play. There have also been regular expeditions out of the house. For example, London Aquarium, Battersea Zoo, a variety of London’s park, soft play centres, etc. This has given the boys a chance to see and do something different and expand their experiences.
Christina has been able to prepare varied and nutritious meals for the boys. She has prepared a menu plan for the week and completed a shopping list to ensure that the food for the boys is fully stocked. She has been able to cater for the eating fads of both boys always finding something that they will eat, not always an easy task!
Christina is a cheerful, helpful, reliable young lady with a natural affinity with children. We have never had any cause to question her ability and trustworthiness and I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending her in any child care capacity.
